The Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority (BRSA) will be conducting an emergency repair of a damaged pipeline along Clark Street between the GSP Exit 117 ramp and Coral Drive. During the repair this segment of road will be closed to traffic, including the intersection of Coral Drive to Clark Street.
Roadway detours will be set up to direct traffic to alternative routes. Access to Clark Street from the Garden State Parkway exit ramp and from Coral Drive will be closed. Local traffic will be permitted on Clark Street from Beers Street to the barricades near Coral Drive. Local residents will have access to their driveways during the work. There is no anticipated interruption of water or sewer service to residents during this project.
This work along with the work just completed on Clark Street will ensure the integrity of these pipelines for 50 plus years. The Bayshore Regional Sewerage Authority is committed to maintaining its infrastructure in top condition. We have dedicated significant resources for this area.
The project is anticipated to take approximately 4 weeks to complete, with the work starting on May 3, 2017. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
