Videos of Hazlet

Welcome to your new location in Hazlet, Wawa! Check out all the familiar faces in this fun video about their opening on Route 36. Wawa also generously gave out a few fat checks to our first responders and community groups as part of its #HoagiesforHeroes campaign.

May 25, 2020
On this Memorial Day in Hazlet, we honor those who died to preserve our freedom with a video, narrated by Mayor Mike Glackin and Deputy Mayor Tara Clark. See the wreaths that have been placed at the monuments in Veterans Memorial Park, the flags flying along our avenues and in the cemetery. In a small ceremony at the VFW this morning, words of remembrance were spoken.

Thank you to the students of Raritan HS TV 4 Honors Class Ashleigh Corby, Ryan Connors, Steven Jacobs, Taylor Calicari, Morgan O’Donnell and Delaney Clark, and to their instructor/editor, Erica Robinson.

Memorial Day is all about remembering the fallen. Hazlet’s VFW held a small, simple service at their post on May 25 with health precautions due to the pandemic.

The May 25, 2020 video tribute is by Hazlet Deputy Mayor Tara Clark.
