Monmouth County Board of Elections is seeking poll workers for 2022 elections. Earn $14.29 an hour on in-person early voting days and $200 on Election Day.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old, US citizens and residents of New Jersey. College and high school students are encouraged to apply. (Those under 18 years of age will work limited hours per shift.) Download an application below. 

Possible work dates span Friday, June 3 through Sunday, June 5 (the in-person early voting period) and Tuesday, June 7 (Election Day). Hours and days may vary.

Poll Worker Duties

• Obtaining the necessary supplies from the Municipal Clerk

• Opening the polls on time

• Determining who may vote

• Keeping order

• Closing the polls

• Completing official documents and returning supplies
