The Monmouth County Board of Elections is seeking Poll Workers for the 2023 Primary Election being held on Tuesday, June 6, and General Election on Tuesday, Nov 7. Poll Workers will be compensated $300 for Election Day and $21.43 per hour for in-person early voting days.
To qualify to be a Poll Worker, interested individuals must be a registered voter of the County and attend a Poll Worker training class. Classes are currently being scheduled for the Primary 2023 Election.

Poll Worker Duties
- Obtaining the necessary supplies from the Municipal Clerk
- Opening the polls on time
- Determining who may vote
- Keeping order
- Closing the polls
- Completing official documents and returning supplies
