Social distancing will be enforced.
State parks and golf courses in New Jersey may reopen Saturday morning with restrictions after weeks of being closed to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Gov. Phil Murphy said Wednesday he’s signing an executive order that will take effect at sunrise Saturday. Visitors must continue to practice social distancing, including a “strong recommendation” to wear face coverings and stay local. Murphy said he reserves the right to reverse his decision if visitors don’t comply.
Restrictions include capping parking at 50 percent capacity, closure of playgrounds and pavilions and no organized sports. Social distancing will be enforced.
