Hazlet residents can pick up their pre-ordered free tree seedlings in a special giveaway being held on Sunday, May 31. The NJ Tree Recovery Campaign aims to replace trees lost in Super Storm Sandy. Seedlings come from the NJ Forest Service and will be distributed by the Hazlet Environmental Commission. Choices are limited to 2 per variety.
If you submitted a form to preorder tree seedlings, Sunday, May 31 is the day to pick them up and and take them home!
- Your reserved seedlings may be collected by curbside pickup today at Hazlet Swim Club lot between 11 am and 2:00 pm. (Friends, come any time during that period to make it more manageable for the volunteers!)
- Please enter from Middle Rd on to Green Acres Drive.
- Have your window open when you pull up curbside to give your last name. Both the driver/passengers and the person giving you your order should have a mask on when the exchange is made.
