Hazlet Township has contracted with Piazza & Associates of Princeton for affordable housing application services. The firm operates in compliance with municipal and state affordable housing regulations.
Piazza & Associates has announced it is now accepting applications through Tuesday, Oct. 22 for six apartments at Madison Park, located on Emily Court, off Poole Avenue, in Hazlet. These apartments are designed to meet the township's "fair share" of the growing need for affordable housing in New Jersey. There are one, two and three-bedroom units. They are available to qualified applicants whose combined income meets the criteria for affordable housing.
Pursuant to state and local law, there will be a preference for applicant households that live and/or work in the region of Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean counties.
Because this is a new property, a random selection will be held for all preliminary applications received on or before October 22, 2020.
Subsequent to the deadline, applicants will be processed on a "first come, first served" basis.
