The all-volunteer Hazlet First Aid & Rescue Squad is now accepting reservations from supporters who would like to participate in the annual gift basket auction, its biggest fundraising event of the year. The event is being run in a socially distant way, with health precautions in mind.
Here's how it works.
- You choose a time between Friday, Oct. 9 and Friday, Oct. 16 to come to the the 19 Maple Drive station in person. Just contact volunteer Marie Wood at (732) 865-2077 or by email at HFAgiftauction@gmail.com..
- When you arrive at the First Aid station you will purchase your tickets and drop them in buckets attached to the gifts you'd most like to win. A sheet of Level 1 tickets is $10.
- Winners will be announced via Facebook Live on Friday, Oct. 16 at 7 pm on the Hazlet First Aid Facebook Page. Winners will be notified by phone.
- Pick up prizes Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday, Oct. 18 from 9 am to pm.
