Today, longtime Hazlet resident Kitty Kenney turns 107. She will be feted by her friends and family at a brief socially-distant drive-by celebration at Arnold Walter Nursing Home at 2 pm organized by Hazlet resident Kim Luker Struszkiewicz. She will be presented with birthday cards offered by the community and a proclamation from county Commissioner Sue Kiley, who is also a family friend.
Hazlet Township joins all in wishing Kitty Kenney a wonderful day! Her grandson told us she and her husband Mac purchased their house at 40 Bucknell Drive before it was even built. She worked at Raritan Pharmacy on Union Avenue for many years and has many friends in the community.
