[ARCHIVED] Baby Formula Drive

Baby Formula Drive-350

Mayor Michael Sachs would like Hazlet residents to know about a Baby Formula drive sponsored by Legislative District 13 members Vicky Flynn and Gerry Scharfenberger.

Donations can be dropped off at their Middletown offices at 1715 Route 35 North, Suites 306 & 307, Middletown, NJ 07748. The building is adjacent to the Middletown Post Office.

Assemblywoman Vicky Flynn said:

There is currently a baby formula shortage around the United States. Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger and I are hosting a baby formula drive. Donations can be dropped off at our Middletown offices at 1715 Route 35N Suites 306 & 307. Donations will go to local nonprofit organizations. If you have any questions please email: AswFlynn@njleg.org

Assemblyman Gerry Scharfenberger adds:

As a father and a grandfather, I’m greatly concerned by the baby formula shortage that has become a victim of the growing supply chain problems across the nation. Mothers and families should not be faced with this added weight at any point, but especially while caring for a newborn.

Seeing the growing need, Assemblywoman Vicky Flynn and I will be holding a “Baby Formula Drive” at our offices to help residents struggling to find food for their infants.

Please, if you have the ability to, consider making a donation which will be shared with local nonprofits and go directly to feeding babies in our area.
